Sunday Desk is made by Nordic Future LLC. This page explains what the app looks at, what leaves your Mac, and what we keep.
Your files stay on your Mac
Sunday Desk moves and renames files on your Mac. It never uploads your files, and it never deletes anything. We never store, sell or track your files or what's in them.
What is sent to work out where a file belongs
- The file's name, type, size and date, and the website it was downloaded from if your Mac recorded one.
- A small preview image for images and videos, combined into a contact sheet.
- Up to a few hundred characters of text from documents such as PDFs.
This is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and then to Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, which replies with a suggested folder and name. We don't store your previews or file contents on our server. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train models on it.
What we keep
- A random ID for your Mac, created by the app, so we can apply your plan.
- How much AI processing each Mac has used, so we can apply limits.
- If you buy Sunday Desk, the email you paid with, your plan and its renewal date.
Your sorting preferences and the history of moves (for undo) are stored only on your Mac.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment details; we never see your card number.
We don't sell your data
We don't sell or share your information for advertising.
Deleting your data
Email us and we'll delete your license record and usage data. Removing the app from your Mac removes everything stored locally.
